To heal is not to fix yourself

A short poem on healing

To heal is not to fix yourself.

But to expand your awareness.

To become more than you could imagine.

For everything is already a part of you.

You are the darkness and the light.

You are the bully and the bullied;

You are the oppressed and the oppressor;

You are the victim and the perpetrator.

All at once.

For without this unity, the bullied becomes the bully;

The oppressed becomes the oppressor;

The victim becomes the perpetrator.

There is nothing to fix.

And everything to accept.

But will you?
